Sue Atkinson
A member of Leeds Fine Art Club, Sue Atkinson paints in a studio at Wakefield Art Mill, and on the beach at Runswick bay. She has been South Yorkshire Artist of the year 1999, has won the Manchester Academy small picture award 2000, and won the joint first prize at the Ferens winter exhibition, Hull, 1999.In London she has shown at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, The New English Art Club, The Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour, The Royal Society of Martine Artists, The Singer Friedlander/ Sunday Times Watercolour Competition. She has also won awards in The Discerning Eye Exhibition 2002, The Laing Landscape Exhibition 1998, The Saunders Waterford Award at the Royal Watercolour Society 1994.
Solo Exhibitions. The Montage Gallery, Castleton. Bretton Hall, Christine PybusFine Arts, Whitby Group Exhibitions. A two man exhibition at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough, Northern Prospects at Harewood House.
