LES PACKHAM MBE
Les Packham was born in Keighley but raised and educated in Sussex
£250 mounted and framed. Postage and packing would be extra. He started painting in watercolour relatively late in life at the age of nearly forty, having been previously inspired by the great early English and Victorian water colorists. A former chairman of the Yorkshire Watercolour Society, Les has exhibited in London at the Mall Galleries, House of Commons, The University Women’s Club and nearer home at the Mercer Gallery in Harrogate and the Ferens Gallery in Hull.

He is currently artist in residence with the society magazine Yorkshire Life and his customers include Archant Life, Arla Foods, English Heritage, Halifax Building Society, Honda UK, Shell Oil and Yorkshire Television. Although predominantly a water colourist Les occasionally paints in oils. |
